ATTRACTIONS:

Reno is well known for the
many recreational activities available within 20 minutes of downtown. There are 55 18-hole golf courses within an
hour’s drive of Reno, including golf courses designed by Arnold Palmer, Fuzzy
Zoeller, Johnny Miller, and Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The
area also offers a wide variety of activities such as racquetball, tennis, horseback
riding, snow/cross country skiing, jogging, fishing, and a water park. And new in downtown is the Truckee River
Whitewater Park for swimmers, rafters and competitive kayaking. Harrah’s is next door
to the National Bowling Stadium. Also, within
an hour’s drive, you can visit scenic Lake Tahoe, historic Virginia City with its

POOL, SPA
& SALON:
Harrah’s has a
beautiful pool deck that provides inviting views of the downtown area while swimming or
sunbathing. The pool is open from May until October and is located on the 5th
floor. Harrah’s newly remodeled Spa features both men’s and women’s
facilities with saunas and steam rooms for each, on-staff massage therapists providing a
wide range of massage therapy, and a complete workout facility with top of the line
equipment. And, for facials, manicures and pedicures, body wraps, makeovers and of course
hair styling, please check into the Harrah’s Salon.
MEETING/CONVENTION/EXHIBITS:
The Robert A. Ring
Convention Center, located in the west tower, third floor of the hotel, has 14,000 square
feet of meeting space that can be divided into as many as nine separate meeting rooms. In
addition to this, we have several other meeting areas on property with over 18,000 square
feet of total meeting space.
Escalator and elevator may
access the Convention Center. A 252-square
foot freight elevator is available for transporting exhibit and show materials. The freight elevator has a maximum weight capacity
of 8,000 pounds, a door width of 9’ 8”, height of 9’ 6”, and depth of
21’.
CATERING:
Harrah’s Reno is proud
to offer the finest in catering quality and service in Northern Nevada. Harrah’s
catering team of noted chefs has designed a wide range of dining possibilities to meeting
planners. Whether it’s hors
d’oeuvres and cocktails or an elegant dinner for 800, you’ll find our staff
responsive to your needs and attentive to details.
BUSINESS CENTER & A/V EQUIPMENT:
The Business Center is located in the Foyer of the Convention Center 3rd Floor
west tower of the hotel and will provide services such as faxing, copying, computer
equipment rental, as well as shipping needs. A

has a wide variety of audio-visual equipment available for rent on a “per-day”

TRANSPORTATION:
The Reno Tahoe International
Airport offers daily airline service by all major carriers including: Alaska Air,
American, America West, Continental, Delta, Frontier, Northwest, Skywest (Delta
Connection), Southwest, and United/United Express Shuttle. Harrah’s Reno provides
complimentary airport shuttle service. Cab fare from the airport is approximately $10.00.
Harrah’s Reno also offers free valet parking, or you may self-park in our 800-car
garage.
KENNEL:
The only casino/hotel in the
Reno/Sparks area that has a kennel to suit our guest’s pet needs. There is a $20.00
deposit, which is refundable. Kennels can
accommodate dogs and cats. Guests are
